With a direct print behind Plexiglas your photo is printed right behind the Plexiglas. This brings your photo to life and highlights its colours even better. The crystal-clear Plexiglas gives stunning depth and brings every detail beautifully to the fore. The Plexiglas gives your photo a deep, lustrous, and particularly powerful, look&feel. The 3 mm thick Plexiglas is shatter-proof and protects your photo against UV rays, whilst enhancing the intensity of its colours and protecting your photo against discolouration. To ensure it hangs securely on the wall and doesn’t warp, we supply an aluminium hanging profile with this product.  

How does it differ with a photo behind Plexiglas?

As you might have noticed, we also supply a photo behind Plexiglas. With a direct print behind Plexiglas the photo is printed behind the Plexiglas using a laser printer. With a photo behind Plexiglas we use an actual photo print (Fujifilm Digital Professional DPII photo paper) that we glue behind the Plexiglas. Looking for the best quality possible? Direct print behind Plexiglas

A direct print behind Plexiglas is printed directly behind the Plexiglas. This is done in mirror image using a laser printer. As opposed to a photo behind Plexiglas, where the photo is first exposed on photo paper and then glued onto the material. The biggest difference between the two methods is all to do with quality. Both prints are of premium quality, but only one can be the best. A direct print behind Plexiglas is slightly less defined than a photo behind Plexiglas. Does optimal quality appeal to you? If so, we recommend you opt for a photo behind Plexiglas. Our Fujifilm Digital Professional DPII photo paper ensures all the details truly stand out and vivid colour rendering.
